Simba
Chloe's male silver tabby Persian likes to strut his stuff.

Mama Chloe
Female, White, Persian with Copper Eyes
Loves being a mama and not only cares  for but plays with her kittens while keeping them close and safe.  She likes all kittens and would care for all of them if we let her.

Papa Bentley
Male, Silver Persian with Big Beautiful Aqua Eyes
He struts his stuff and talks with a southern accent.  When he enters a room he takes it over with his charming personality.

Bentley at Play

Whisker Oaks kittens are born naturally with minimal assistance to promote the bonding of mother and babies.  The birth of a new litter is a joy at Whisker Oaks and the kittens are monitored very closely for their first 24 - 48 hours  to ensure they are receiving the nutrition they need to remain in good health to promote their growth and development.  We have found that kittens do well weaning themselves when they are given the right food so we provide "hard pellet" Kitten Science Diet to provide the proper nutrition for neurological growth.  But of course as long as mama is around dessert is available.

All kittens are taken to the Wind Lake Animal Hospital to see the Vet between the age of 6 to 8 weeks age.  There are several Vets who practice at this office and they all like cats and kittens and focus on providing the best care around.  Each kitten is checked to ensure they are healthy and each received there first set of shots.

Our kittens have the run of the house and only go outside on the deck to become stars on our web page.  We take pictures from the day they are born and offer them to new owners so that they can enjoy seeing the growth of their new baby.
